Fieldside Small-ish Portrait.
Bringing back a Fieldside Studio Classic!
A collectable framed Mini Portrait. But I’m not just offering small-ish paintings, I’m making them super special with the finest art supplies and papers, deckled edges, floating in antiqued gold metal locket frames, for you to collect and treasure and gift to others.
Paper size is about 3.75” x 2.75” floating in a 4 x 3” frame designed to be either a horizontal or vertical composition.
The Fieldside Framed Small-ish Portrait $120
8 x 10” Portrait.
Each portrait works out to be about a 5x7”+ image centered on 8x10” archival, acid-free, 100% cotton paper. Beveled edge standard mat included.
This portrait size is matted to fit your standard 8x10” frame. The smaller format is a great size to give as a gift, or to pop in a tabletop frame.
This size is best for a single pet, head and shoulder portrait (unless its a foreshortened composition as this one seen here).
8x10” Original Portrait $397
11 x 14” Portrait.
Each portrait works out to be about an 8x10”+ image centered on an 11x14” archival, acid-free, 100% cotton paper. Beveled edge standard mat included.
This size is ideal for a single head and shoulder portrait or possibly including chest and front paws. This size will also accommodate two smaller portraits of head and neck only.

Let’s face it, “Fish Stories” get a bad rap. You may need to boost your credibility and accompany that story with an eye-catching illustration.
Or maybe you, or someone you know, just had the fishing trip of a lifetime. Make it a special memory by customizing an original piece of art. Now that’s a pretty special “Let me tell you about that time when…” story starter!
Your fish portrait will be created from a classic portrait of your favorite species, or from your personal photo. Each image is approximately 8x10”+ centered on 11x14” archival, acid-free, 100% cotton fine art paper, and 11x14” beveled edge matted.

The Process.
1] Once you’ve decided which product you’d like, just hit the button. That will connect you to the contact form. Please enter your contact information, let me know which format you are interested in, and a little bit about your star subject.
2] We will discuss timeframes and estimated turn-around time for completion.
3] I will require a very good quality photo or digital image that you can attach or email to me. Remember that the eyes are so important. I need to see the color and personality. Consider the lighting in your reference photo. It’s amazing how certain lighting can completely change the color of your pet. You know them best, so choose the one that is most accurate to real life. Lastly, make sure your photo is nice and close up. If it’s too far away I won’t be able to see the details that make your pet who they are. If you have a couple of photos but are unsure of which one, I can help you choose! Either way, we’ll discuss the best way to portray your pet’s personality and likeness so that you’ll love it.
4] Once the details are ironed out, I will provide a customized link to the Current Commission option on the Shop Page where you can make your payment… and then… I get to work!
